Story: Focusing on developing popular characters seen throughout my work. It begins with my note books they are the vaults to my characters collections. Featuring oil and acrylic painted cartoons are a unique form of art that combines the traditional medium of painting with the playful and whimsical nature of cartoons. These paintings often feature bold colors, exaggerated proportions, and surreal imagery, making them instantly recognizable and captivating. Each work has a main character surrounded by smaller figures, a metaphor for living in our own worlds. This is an invitation to my world, welcome.

Name: Imaginary Friends

Info: A collection of sixteen characters on paper.

Story: In a little town, there lived a boy who loved to draw. He would spend hours with his sketchbook, creating characters and worlds beyond his imagination. But what made his drawings special was that they were all of his imaginary friends. The boy had sixteen imaginary friends, each with their unique personalities and quirks. There was the one who could breathe underwater, the one who could fly, and the one who could talk to animals. Each friend was as different as could be, but they all shared one thing in common - their love for the boy. One day, the boy decided to turn his drawings into a collection. He picked out his favorite sketches and carefully mounted them on paper, creating a beautiful display of his imaginary friends. Even though his friends were just a figment of his imagination, they were as real to him as anything else. They gave him comfort and companionship when he needed it most, and he knew that he could always count on them to be there for him.

Name: Super Flat

Story: A configuration of rare mutating characters plucked straight out of Reagan’s imagination, ranging from human to that of their own species. Inspired by the Japanese art form super flat and Disney’s behemoth collection of distinguished characters, Reagan saw a branding  opportunity and built his own crew of eccentric mascots. They appear across various mediums that he works with including sculptures, a children’s book and animated films. Hoping to tap into the world of merchandising to broaden his demographics.

Name: Modern Era

Info: A collection of ten canvas prints.

Story: Morphing recognizable art classics escorted by an amalgamation of contemporary and fine art, these unique works are intended to make museum visits longer by creating a world in which the younger generation can relate to. Cartoons, like kids narrate innocent stories, that have nothing to do with the bullshit of real life, drama or facts. Reagan purposely creates his work like an animated film, it appeals to a much broader audience because they're captivating whether or not viewers realize their morals or meaning. Cartoons and animation transcend reality, allowing the viewers imagination to explore a world their conscience creates. The world we experience comes from our personal perspectives which Reagan is constantly addressing in all of his works.

Story: A motley group of characters living in their own universes, both reality and fiction. The result of a character’s journey depends strictly on the individual interpreting the work. The imagination of the audience is code to unlocking the true potential behind the series. The fate of each character is in your hands. Open to all conclusions these universes are a unique escape portal form mundane earthly activities.
